ESS’s in-house training Institute, Pacific Training Centre, has been created with the vision of equipping engineers with the specialized skills required to build highly successful careers in the rapidly growing steel detailing industry.
Pacific Training Centre’s SSDTC is a post-graduation program for Civil & Mechanical engineering students that prepares them to function in steel detailing projects from day one. Our curriculum prepares candidates to work on even large-scale international projects by training them on introduction and overview of the roles and responsibilities of the steel detailer, training on Software Skills, focus on technical knowledge, and awareness of different fabrication & construction codes/standards.
ESS has dedicated training centres, at its Navi Mumbai & Ratnagiri Offices. The centres are well equipped and facilitate practical exposure. Experienced trainers and industry leaders are available at both the locations to teach and guide students throughout the course. Besides fundamental knowledge of drafting and detailing, students get experience of working on live projects.
Students at Pacific Training Centre get exposure to the latest versions of tools used in the industry including Tekla, Brics CAD, etc. They gain knowledge of detailing as per National Institute of Steel Detailing (NISD) standards and have basic knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) relevant to steel detailing. Students also become familiar with AISC/CISC detailing standards.
