• Uses software like Tekla to create 3D models of steel structures
• Analyse project documents for missing information & constructability issues
• Creates 2D drawings from 3D models
• Participates in meetings to incorporate changes to models
• Trains and coaches other team members
• Researches new software features and workflows

Checker

• Ensures that deliverables meet quality and accuracy standards
• Analyses project specifications and requirements
• Performs quality inspections, such as magnetic particle testing and
ultrasonic testing
• Identifies and reports discrepancies and issues

Team Leader

• Leads a team of detailers and checkers
• Mentors and provides guidance to junior team members
• Facilitates communication within the team
• Helps resolve design issues and improve workflow
• Works to meet deadlines without compromising quality

Project Manager

• Manages the budget, staffing, and responsibilities of team members
• Ensures that deadlines are met
• Coordinates with engineers and other disciplines to resolve issues
• Prepares and presents technical reports to stakeholders
